It doesn't hold quite the lure for me it used too, but I must say this morning was a beautiful morning to be in the woods, well worth taking the morning off work. I had several misses (.22 rifle), but ended up bringing 4 home, 2 young grays, 1 old gray and 1 young red. Looking forward to fried squirrel very soon!

Sounds like a great morning. The weather was perfect if the mosquitos weren't too bad.

I'd planned on going this AM but slept in instead. My woods is full of fox squirrel and usually it doesn't take long to get a limit, unless my shooting is off. I don't eat squirrel like a use to so unless Ive got someone to give them too I don't hunt. h.h.
PS, I wish we had the greys up here because I think they are better to eat.

Luke and I went to a "new" woods for us and seen a few. He did miss one but we came home a little early. School started this week and he is a bit on the sluggish side. We plan to go out Saturday morning.
Awesome evening to hunt. I had a loooong day with planning a funeral and had 3 other intense counseling appointments so spending the evening in the woods was exactly what I needed.
Glad to be huntin....

went twice over the weekend. went with my brother and cousin. four squirrels were harvested. i hate this time of year with all the leaves and them hanging in the tops of trees. cant wait for cooler weather.

Going to try it tomorrow morning! The woods we deer hunt usually is full of squirrels so I am sure I won't see a thing tomorrow!
