Great job! There is a lot to duck hunting and hunting in general that most just don't get. The sunrise and watching the wildlife wake up is an amazing sight and it happens everyday! The rush of wings, or what you thought were wings, or the crunch of leaves is just breath stopping.

We just hunted a small river over the holiday and we killed one beautiful drake mallard. Dad didn't hear me say I got the lead bird so we both shot him as he flushed up off the river! Even though it was one bird, it was a rush of excitement to take such a beautiful bird on our own land!

I shot two woodies yesterday on my own land in a ditch creek. Shot them just down from my deer stand. Now that I'm tagged out for deer season the ducks are in trouble.

woodies this time of year is a bonus.

I know, they stay late here I was seeing them all deer season and it was killing me not to get on them. They are my favorite to eat!
