Never been there but my buddy at school says its a good place to deer and turkey hunt. His uncle seems to get one every year

Plus, if you hunt Kansas close to the Nebraska border...you could pick up three extra tags by hunting both states.
There are none so blind as those who will not see.

went out there in 2011 had a blast. I only bought one tag as the weather was suppose to turn bad. Dad and I doubled on a pair of gobblin struttin jakes the second day. Uncle killed a jake that morning also. We hunted the eastern part where the rios and eastern crossed, dad and our birds were hybrids and I would say uncles was a rio Dad and I me uncle

this was all on public ground. I found out after the fact we had private ground to go to. For what it was worth the first day dad missed one and I messed up a setup on a mature bird that came in following a hen like a buck chasin a doe was somewhat funny, cousin let one walk at 50yds when his gun would of killed it he just let him do it. I have never heard so many turkeys gobblin in so many different spots they could be heard all over. I will go back when I get two weeks vacation at work..
