Beat the rain this morning after a txt book senario ending. Set up on the only bird that I heard.Set up about 100 yrds made a couple of calls and my fly down flapping, which the bird triple gobbled at. Waited till he made his way into the field. The next gobble I heard he was about 75 yrs past me down the field, I thought where in the world is he going. So I started to cuttin fast on my aluminator and he responded with several gobbles an double gobbles. I could tell he turned and was on his way back, which seldom happens. So at 07:10 Ilet him have it. So ended my 4 yr drought of killing a bird in Indiana.Stats are 24#,10.5" beard and 28mm spurs.
