Six or seven different toms literally gobbling their heads off for over two hours. Three tom's came strutting down the lane with three hens. We left and went fishing about 9 and the toms were still gobbling like they hadn't seen a hen in months. The landowner got some good pictures since at one point the three strutting toms were about 20 yards away. "Fishing is like a one night stand, unless you're fly fishing, then you've encountered the romance of your life"

Hunt N Nut Member H Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 455 Indiana	Heard the first birds gobbling in Indiana on March 2. Saw the first strutters (3) on March 5. Heard birds one morning from then until early last week when I started hearing them every morning. A field about 1/2 mile from my house seems to have 1-7 birds strutting in it at anytime of the day. This morning tere were even two jakes strutting.

nickgsp2 Hoosier Hunter Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 1,328 east cent.	Went this morning and heard a few gobbling pretty good, but my scouting quickly turned to retrieving trophies. Yep trophy rocks! He told me last night he wanted to wake up and go, so I thought I would try figuring he wouldnt get up, but man he jumped up like a champ, and was excited to hear the birds. We had a blast 1 turkey, 2 deer, 1 eagle and 5 trophy rocks.
