Just began getting reports of dead deer near water in Switzerland county. Looks like another bad year. Farm just up the road has found 11 dead, read on another site about several dead found in last week....

Probably at least 8 weeks to a killing frost......

Was down there Sat.I did not find any in the area I was in, the land owner has not found any. I also talked to the land owner that joins the land I hunt he said he has not found any on his property. I talked to a bud that has a family farm on Green vally rd, he said He had not seen any on his property. I sure hope that we dont. The area I hunt is around Moorefield. Good luck with your area A13

I found a dead 10 pointer next to water yesterday in southern Warren county. He was stinking pretty bad, but the yotes and buzzards hadn't found him yet. He didn't look like he had been injured in any way, so I assume EHD.

I have found buzzards nor coyotes will touch an EHD deer.....

Heard of some found near Moorefield and east of East Enterprise

EHD happens every year... Last year was more devastating due to the severe drought....

I am off off of Big Doe Run. I have not seen any dead have not heard of any from farmers.

Was in fountain county near Attica Sunday at a friend of my father in laws land squirrel hunting and there was a doe floating in the pond would guess ehd but not for certain

140 inch buck found around Moorefield today

Dr. James Kroll said one of the reasons Indiana has been able to produce such good bucks recently is because of EHD. He said it has helped reduce the herd and in turn helped bucks grow bigger.
