Went out Saturday evening for only the second time this season.(Been really busy at work including weekends.)

I got off work Saturday afternoon around 4:00 PM. and decided on the way home that I should hurry up and get home so I could hunt the last few hours of the evening.

Got settled in my stand at a little after 5:00 PM. I wasn't sitting for about 15 minutes and a young 6 point walked past me at about 20 yards. I was thinking that it might be a good evening to sit since I had already seen some action.

It tuns out to be a pretty boring next couple of hours, all I was seeing was squirrels everywhere. Then right before 7:00 PM. I hear leaves crunch, I look over my right shoulder behind me and see a deer with antlers. I couldn't quit make out how big it was, so I stood up slowly and waited for to come up side of me. It was only about 10 yards away and I decided right then in was shooter. I drew back and let the arrow fly. I put my 20 yard pin on him and aimed a little low. The arrow still ended up hitting a little high and I spined the deer. It dropped right it its tracks. After calming my nerves and watching the deer try to pull the arrow out of its side with his mouth. I climbed down and put a finishing shot on him.

This is my biggest buck yet. The G2 are both 12 inches and the G3 are both 10 inches.

Needless to say I am very pleased.
