Hi,

I am from the Fountain county area and into the outdoors. For years on my bucket list has been to get into hunting, but I've never known any hunters. My family owns a bit of land along the Wabash river. Just being able to go with someone and observe them hunt this fall would be the start of a dream come true. Hope to hear from someone! Thank you.

Glad to see your post with an interest in hunting. Just a suggestion....post up some more biographical information about yourself and your interests. And a photo if you want. Hopefully one of our members in western Indiana will help you out.

I know this is different for someone to make such a request (see my original post), but I'm just trying to network with hunters in the area.

Feel free to ask me any questions any of you want about my original post up there. I've updated my profile. I'm totally legit. and a real person. I'm just wanting to get my hands dirty and enjoy authentic nature!!

Wow, really? Revenly I bought a recurve bow and am practicing with it. That'd be right up my alley. But right now (and for probably a long time it's to watch and observe.)

Yes really. All are welcome. Bring a shotgun and we can kill some squirrels during the day.

I've never shot a gun nor hunted. I honestly want to network with some, but am trying to meet the right people.

Come on over. We'll have fun. There's a decent archery range and we can stump shoot. Buy a hunting license.

I live right at the crook of Fountain, Vermillion, and Warren counties by the Wabash. You say it's good for hunting?

yes, do some online research about hunting methods and give it a shot. an Indiana Hunter ed course would be a good place to learn the basics also. They are free to attend and would be valuable for any new hunter.
