On Friday the 20th I went to a spot that I had a decent 9pt come in on me the last time I was there. It is a nice funnel that had some scrapes around it but they are since gone but still seems like a good spot to catch one moving through. I get up in my climber and not long after a doe is coming in then 2 more, they then got ran off by 2 dogs on one side and a coyote on the other side. Its ok it is still early in the day and I plan on sitting till at least 12 or 1. About 10 2 more does came up the hill then another one she bedded about 35 yards away. She finally got nervous and headed back down the hill. Then about 1130 I look behind me and see this buck moving about 100 yards away on the other ridge I grunt and can call and here he comes. He is about 8 steps and his antlers are blocking my shot so I had to wait till he takes a few more steps. I look at my bow and I feel like I got my bow,(limbs and cams) clear of the stand as I don't want to hit it. Well he takes about 3 steps closer so he is almost directly under me and I get a shot but forgot to recheck my bow. Ouch...bad news cam hit the stand messed it up kicked the sting off the bow no good.

Good news.. I managed to still put a good shot on him he went 20 yards and went down.
