I have had stands stolen at JP before. 2X!

Hunting Kingsbury as of late. I generally keep mine in the woods but my son was thinking about putting a stand just off a fire lane where we routinely see deer walking the lane. This is how we got onto the subject. I did like the screen block, neat idea!

As far as theft proof, I use a cable lock on the stand itself as well as the ladder stick (for my portable) and a cable lock on my ladder. I feel a thief will come back with tools and steal if it they really want it regardless. I'll make them work for it but won't give it away! Heck, I suppose they could disassemble in pieces if they really want. The only true way to prevent the theft is to pack in/out each time. Unfortunate, isn't it?!

Good ideas. Thanks for the input. I'll keep checking to see if other ideas pop up.
