As I have suspected all year, the 2015 deer harvest will most likely be lower than 2014. I only hope the DNR listens and drops bonus county tags and/or eliminates that late firearms antlerless season that we don't need.
We are @ 106,000 right now. Last season the muzzleloader harvest was 11,000 and the late antlerless season accounted for 4,000 more.

106,000 + 11,000 + 4,000 = 121,000. Add in the late archery harvest and I would estimate the total ending up somewhere around 125,000 deer. Not a whole lot higher than last season, but a bit.

Of course that is just an estimate and the total could obviously be higher or lower.

As far as the late antlerless season goes for next year, I would imagine that depends upon how each county fared this year.
