I agree with Dew, the scouting camera has been the downfall of many big bucks IMO it is thesingle most important piece of hunting gear invented in my lifetime!

That said, hunt the does! Pre rut, rut and post rut the bucks are searching out a receptive doe. They know all the bedding areas and food sources a doe group uses and check them regularly. Feeding times I want to be in the feeding area, mid day I want the down wind side of a bedding area.

I don't give up, my largest typical(176") was taken on the next to last day of muzzleloader season(Dec22) at mid day. You can't kill them if you are not hunting them!

It gets easier to let them walk as you mature into a buck hunter not just a meat hunter.Does are plentiful and fill the freezer just fine. Good luck on your journey.
