I have said all along that the high allotment numbers were intended to give the "perception" that a county/area has an over abundance of deer(when in fact it does not), so when a hunter see's a 4 or 8 bonus allotment, or a "urban zone" allotment and now the "deer reduction zone allotment of 10 deer, he or she automatically thinks hey, the DNR wants me to kill 'em off, we have too many deer around me, well heck, I'll try and do just that...then the neighbor suffers 'cause the clownboy goes on a killing spree(Ive had that happen and you cant get thru to those people)....like I said, I'm glad I'm done with Porter county, let them kill 'em all...just a shame (or sham).... and yes, the 38,000+ deer is quite a number....one last thing...what good does it do to have a "reduction zone" in an area when the locality dosnt even allow hunting within their limits ??
