Ok, you asked!
I'm still a sucker for trying the newest scent gimmicks, so I bought a few sticks of the Evercalm. Results were actually worse than with other cover scents I've used. Just as with most any other scent product, if you get the right wind swirls, you can trick yourself into thinking it works. Or mistakenly base your judgement on fawn & yearlings reaction, as opposed to the reaction of wily mature does, which is all that really counts. The unavoidable truth for me, is that there's still virtually no way to fool a mature deer's nose. And for my experience, this product doesn't fool mature deer in the slightest. I'm a scent control freak for 30 years, and after trying every scent control scheme imaginable over those years, I still believe the best scent is no scent at all. Your mileage may vary.

you might check out archerytalk.com Lots of guys on there seem to use and like this product. Originally posted by ROBINHOOD 06: I'd like to hear from anyone who's used the evercalm or VS1. This past season being my second year using the products and I've had more deer in sight and up close then ever before. It would be a great thing to hear from anyone that uses the evercalm/ VS1. I'm convinced that this is truly an amazing product. So please share your success stories with us fellow hunters. Thanks a million.

Have not tried the vs1 but the evercalm helps imho. Being stick form you use it very sparingly and it lasts a long time. I know guys who swear by it for cover scent, especially on boots walking in. My experience has been positive.
