Bad news. Looks like EHD is hitting hard in Putman County. Went out yesterday to check cameras. Found a buck I have been watching all summer. My neighbor came over and showed me one he found yesterday as well. We could smell other dead "animals" as we walked the woods. Camera cards out for past 2 weeks with absolutely no buck photos. Usually average about 1000 images in that period of time. I am fearing the worst. I will try to attach photos if I can figure it out.

farm just north of there I hunt is really low on the deer sightings this year also. Very weird.

Usually have 1000+ photos in a couple weeks and several different bucks. This year only a doe and 2 fawns. Zero bucks seen so far on cam since August.

The second buck looks like he could be close to a booner'. Too bad.

Talking to people in Clinton and eastern edge of Tippecanoe, we have several reports of big bucks. I have pics of one from sept. 11 that was found dead in the field next to me when the farmer took the beans out this weekend and neighbor found one last week. It's not looking good.

I meant to say "reports of dead bucks.

dang...that sucks. EHD always seems to hit right on the brink of deer hunting season
