Opening day of deer season and not one story about a hunt on here and no pictures of deer. What the heck is going on !!

No Pic but I shot a Doe and when I went to field dress it an hour later It Had miraculously grown a 3 1/4 and 4 in spikes Bagged and Tagged and in the Barn

We killed three does between three of us last night. Great day of hunting, saw lots of deer and one giant on the neighbor. Was overall a great day to be out!

This is what I did all weekend...


Helped my in-laws all weekend. They own Knightstown locker and we usually go down and help them on weekends during firearms season. We did about 190 deer Sat.and Sun. Dang, I think i'm getting to old to do this...

Hopefully i will be there tomorrow ^^^

That pile of Racks and caped deer show exactly what most hunters are after all trophy's to the hunter who shot them congrats to the unknown

Brew, you're right, things can happen but we are all hunters and take pride in making sure everyone gets their rack back. Some do wait and take them with them, but if there's 15 ahead of you it just takes time. We try

I wouldn't be too concerned. Any reputable processer that wants to stay in business won't be losing people's racks. Caping and skull capping is also another way to make a few bucks for processors, so most take good care of the trophies.
