Took my entire family to find this tricky doe! I am colorblind and can not see blood. My goal is to hit them hard so I find them close! Not today! Hit her ok but got a poor exit hole and no blood for awhile. Called my wife and they drove 45 min to help. Not sure if they'd be help I showed them where I shot. Within minutes we were on blood and even my four year old was finding it! I just marked spots as they moved on. She pulled a loop and got in a bean field and we lost it! I was ready to give up and they talked me into looking behind my stand, not knowing she went that way. We were about to leave when we exited the woods and that's when jake, 9, found blood by chance! Off we went through the scrub finding handfuls of drops every few feet. After several yards, we lost it. Never found another drop! I had wife and boys keep looking and off I went down this wooded ravine we were in. I figured she may be way down in the bowl! Sure enough I could see belly way up in front of me! I couldn't run and yell I found her fast enough!

I owe this one to my family! They for sure got us going the right way!

This was a new farm, new stand and a one hour hunt! Pretty cool day! FYI, my crew is not for hire, you couldn't afford them!

Cool story. All of you will remember this one for a while nice doe.
