I got the primitive muzzy hunt at BO in October. Hopefully the govt doesn't shut down this year.

They didnt shut the muzzle hunt down last year just the first bow hunt. h.h.

Yep I got the first bow hunt and the primitive hunt. Two weekends in a row!

I drew the primitive hunt again......yeah! h.h.

I wasn't drawn for Atterbury, but both my sister and brother in law were for 11/29 and 11/30.

I wasn't either but my buddy was for the 30th so I can't wait....

Didn't get Crane again this year. Seems like either my buddy or I got drawn for a couple years in a row and then for the last several have got nothing. I had heard that the last couple or so they were only have 1 public hunt.

I was drawn for the 23rd of November as well. 1 day sunday hunt. Looking forward to it. i grew up hunting ground on the north side my old man actually bought from crane. we would go to church on Sundays at the chapel on base. A lot of big deer in those fences. havent been on the place in about 15 years- last time was with an disabled hunter.

I got the late hunt,was hoping for the early one. I've never done a state park hunt before. Kind of excited to try it out.

This has been my worst draw year yet. I did draw the late hunt at Brown County, so hopefully something will come of that.

park hunts are fun. I pack a lunch and bring my stand and stuff in on my deer cart. Took me a few years to learn this trick... =)

Agree. I pre-scout with a friend and find a thicket w/ heavy deer traffic, pack a lunch, read a book, and then kill deer. Get there EARLY and get in your spot Don't be shy about waving people off with your flashlight. Always fun to hunt somewhere different.

Anyone have any recommendations for hunting Chain Of Lakes State Park??

My first draw hunt! I got Big Oaks, archery, October 11 & 12. May need a partner. Any suggestions on which area to reserve? Looking at topo maps to get a feel for it right now.

I got late hunt at Shakamak. I've only been there once, 20+ years ago when I was in Boy Scouts. Really looking forward to it, but no idea what I'm getting into and it's kind of far for me, so don't know if I'll be able to make a scouting trip. I've previously been drawn for Crane, Dunes, and Shades and I'm 0 for 3, didn't even see deer.

Well the bottom half is always the first to go so you will probably get the north end....

Area 13 and 14 are nice choices...

I have hunted WW many times but never got the beach area. Be fun to hunt a new place in there. Off hand do you remember how many guys they allowed to go in there?
