Does anybody know if walmart bought deer attractants like doe in estrous or active scrape work?

+1

save that money and get a climber stand so you have more options when picking a hunting spot depending on wind direction, food sources, deer activity, etc...

I don't mess with scents anymore but know for a fact that Tinks 69 and Pete Rickards Indian Buck Lure will both lure in curious bucks within shooting range during rut and pre-rut.

My current view is that too many people use this stuff incorrectly and any mature buck is likely wised up to this scam. These days I just play the wind and set up a good ambush.

Regardless of where you buy them they are all the same... I've never had much luck and most of the time they worked the opposite so I don't buy them anymore with the exception of scent away to knock my scent down...

My buddy gave me some scent bombs yesterday. Said they worked for him...I may try it out.

The one scent I use is a dominant buck bomb. I dont' use it often, but I have it with me and if the wind shifts or I just want to cover my scent, I will set it off..or just spray some from the tree.
It just makes me feel a little more confident on stand. I have killed my two biggest bucks this way. Did they come in looking? I dont' think so....they were passing through and I beleived it made them think another deer was in the area and not me.
