I hunted it a few years ago and that was the only time.
We camped and didn’t go very far from the campground. Everyone else seemed to go elsewhere. As you go in the campground and turn left, we went to the end and hunted down over the edge of the campground. We hunted 100 yards or so in. We went down the hill and I hunted a trail along side an old creek. I shot a doe the first morning and seen 5-6 in range. That evening I walked up the other side from where I was hunting and shot a small buck. It is very thick back in there and not knowing where to go, we set up in the thickets. Kinda figured they would be pushed around.
All I can tell ya. Not been back. Good luck.

I hunted there the first two years they opened it up to Bowhunters ... never went back because it is to far to drive for me as I'm at the opposite end of the state .... I killed two deer there both times, went back of a picnic area is all I can say.... I have no idea what it is like now .... seen quite a few deer then... 'prolly lower numbers now ... you got to go there days prior and scout it out ...
