Not at all. Thanks for the help. I was trying to do that but couldn't figure it out (yes, I read the policy and how to post, i just stink with computers). For those that probably think I'm old to get the first, I just started hunting about 5 yrs. ago. This is my first season with bow.

Nothing to be ashamed of there

Thank you all for your kind words. I have a little confession to make. Last year I got my first buck with a gun (w/ marlin .44 mag) and it was an HRB buck. I know to some on here that is old hat. Some think it was luck, but they don't realize all of the time I spent analyzing all of my mistakes over the first few years. While I don't have much land to hunt (5-6 huntable acres), I have been very blessed to have it as mine. This deer was exactly what I was looking for and I spent a lot of time to prepare. I have some awesome landowners all around me that have been extremely helpful to me. What I didn't want to do is screw up a shot on a huge buck that they could have taken. I didn't grow up with access to hunting and the ultimate thrill will be when my boys, 3 & 5, eventually learn to appreciate the time in the woods, and god willing, take a deer. I lost a a friend and collegue to cancer a few months months ago that was about my age. He has four kids. All I could think when I was out there was how lucky I was to have the opportunity.
