Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? Just pulled my T/C cards and the first few pics were of this deer. In 40 years of hunting I have never seen anything like this. I would like to know what caused it. In one pic you can see he has got a big knot on his right front knee. Any ideas? Thanks

I have seen that happen on one side but not both. I had several pics of him last year but not seen him this year.

Well my guess would be that he suffered an injury to one or both of his testicles... A few years ago I was hunting at Camp Atterbury and a guy shot a buck still in velvet and it only had one testicle when he went to field dress it...

This buck could also be suffering from a disease of some sort but without harvesting him and checking him out we may never know....

Lesson to other bucks. Don't be cheating on your doe. Or they will bag ya

I would wait another year to see what happens with him/her.... could get even more knarly and possibly more desirable to shoot!
