I am posting all of the items from my post a few months ago finally. Let me give you some background so everyone is fully aware. A co-workers grandfather was a recurve shooter/collector and has this collection. Everything here is roughly from the 1950s to 1960s. He wants to sell it so that it (or parts of it) will go to like-minded people that will appreciate it. This is not a fund raiser, he simply realized that it wasn't getting any appreciation or use in storage and decided to part with it. I was asked by my co-worker to assist with the sell. I recently took the Bear bows to a local archery shop that has a recurve expert. He looked at the bows and told me that they are all very shootable. He found no cracks or fractures in the glass/laminate. He was impressed with the overall condition. HOWEVER...he did wonder if anyone would want to shoot them much. He thought a collector would want them to complete a collection or an archer would want one to simply have. Again..he said they are shootable, but stringing them couild cause a break. He advised a price for each bow and I am asking for slightly less here. The white Bearcat bow is shootable and he thought someone would still want to shoot it. All other items are priced as marked. I am making every effort to be forthright and honest and advise everything I know about the collection. (which is limited.) Please feel free to email me directly at ferb55@hotmail.com with any questions. No doubt some of this would just look really good on your wall or in your man cave! I work in Fishers and the whole collection is in my office. Any items purchased can be picked up there or we can make arrangements to ship. Buyer pays for shipping. Bear Bearcat 66" 39# 6K48 RH $200 Bear Kodiak 60" 50# DJ619 RH (dark wood) $125 Bear Kodiak 60" 45# DF497 RH (light wood)$125 Bear Kodiak 60" 42# DN598 RH (dark wood) $125 [IMG] [URL=http://s76.photobucket.com/user/ferb55/media/photo19_zpsa4c99afe.jpg.html] 12 matching cedar arrows with vintage broadheads and carrying case. Arrows are numbered 1 thru 12. Great looking stuff. $100 Arrow carrying case like above. Empty. $25 More to come tonight. Mostly arrows and an arrow stand.

I've seen that before too, Dave. Is that just how they stored them unstrung back in the day?

Ferb, do you still have the wooden box with the dozen cedar arrows by chance?

I do, but I am working on a deal with someone that may want the whole shebang. I will keep you updated. It won't be too long.
