Hunter Dan OP Hoosier Hunter H Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 204 Crawfordsville	Shot this buck this past Saturday morning, Nov. 23rd at 9:15 am. It's been a long season. Put 104 hours in on stand and had not seen a single shooter until this buck came in. He was headed to a hot doe and another buck that I was watching at about 80 to 100 yards with my binocs. Had both gun and bow in the tree, but ended up shooting him with my gun. He was about 60 to 70 yards out in some really thick brush. My .44 mag CVA Scout put him down. Had passed lots of small to medium sized bucks previously. He was the 173rd deer I had seen out of a stand in 42 hunts. He's a clean 8 that grosses 141 2/8". Interesting thing is that I had no pics or history whatsoever with this buck. Had never seen him before. First glance at him was a back view and I knew immediately that I wanted to shoot him.
