I have a question about legally shooting a wounded deer. Can you legally shoot a wounded deer if you have already filled you tag on the sex of deer. For example if I see a deer with an arrow sticking out of it and the deer looks to be fatally wounded can you shoot it? I know you couldn't tag it no matter what, have to call the CO or find the hunter who shot it in the first place.

This question only comes because of a dream I had and made me start thinking and I honestly have no clue on the Right answer.

Morally I would say end the suffering of the deer and call the CO.
