Wow, where to start. I started a topic about deer hunting while farmer is harvesting the field you hunt. Well it all came together tonight. As soon as I got to the woods the combine just started in the field so I busted to the stand incase anything would come busting out of the corn and into my area. Night started off very slow. As the combine was about half way done 2 does come busting out and head into the woods next to were I'm hunting. Then has they get down to the last couple swipes it gets interesting. Had a Big buck pop out and haul to the other woods. I tried to grunt but with the wind it was a lost cause. I looked back to the field and a coyote was sitting about halfway in the field. Figured my night was over. I look to see if the buck was walking the edge of the woods as the coyote was walking away at this point. I check on the coyote and see a deer hauling to the corner of my woods. All I can see is a huge body. I was down wind and knew grunting would be hard to hear. But tried anyway. Buck runs into woods about 100 yds down. The next thing I know the buck is running the edge of the woods and 40 yds away. I stand up and grab my bow, hes right at me. Its a buck!! I draw back, give a mouth grout stops dead in his tracks. 15 yds. SWACK!!! As he turns I notice the kicker on his G2, its the buck I been after all year. My arrow is sticking out about 18 inches. I start getting worried. Just keep thinking "I just blew that shot. I don't know if it was nerves bc it all happened so fast or the wind. He takes off out in the cut bean field. Stops about 150 yds out and is limping really bad. He starts to wobble a little then all of sudden falls over white belly up. Even though my shot was little high and little forward I still managed to get both lungs. I'm jumping with excitement at this point, still cant believe it. I wait 30 mins just to make sure. Had another doe come out and walk within 50 yds. As I was walking up to him I keep thinking he's not dead and I have an arrow nocked and ready. I get about 10 yds and see blood everywhere and then it really sets in. Finally connected on buck I really wanted. Here are a few pictures and one of him earlier this year. ![[Linked Image]](http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac321/jogden147/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_0597.jpg)
