Hello everyone.
I will be fishing Patoka lake for the first time in may. Any info would be appreciated. Not looking for hotspots or any thing, but some pointers maybe. We will be there from the 13th-16th. I have looked at a couple maps, and wow, what a big place!! Would like to make the most of my trip..

Crappie fishing is decent there early, and probably should be when your there. I am usually busy turkey hunting at that time and have never fished Patoka in May. We do good fishing standing timber near up in the creek arms.

Find a beaver hut close to deep water and you wont go wrong.
