Here is a quote from the November 20, 2012 NRC meeting on this subject.
Director Robert E. Carter, Jr., provided his report. “We’re in the height of gun season for deer hunting, and I’m pleased to report that the bundled license proposal has been a tremendous success.” He asked Mark Reiter for statistics on the bundled licenses.
Reiter responded, “We’ve sold more [deer license bundles] than any other type of license. In fact, I think we sold fewer of some licenses—mostly archery licenses, because that’s what the bundle was designed to do is to be an all-seasonal license.” Reiter added, “So far this year 50,000 fewer deer licenses were sold, but we gained $1.25 million more in revenue.”

Took 2 deer, and grateful to have the bundle. Closest thing I will ever get to LL, since those will not return (unless maybe 65 yrs old).
Much easier to plan - just go hunt, as long as obeying weapon in season.
Most years I would purchase 3 to 4 tags due to hunting all seasons, military, bonus, etc.
I had times when family emergencies then only allowed me 1 day to gun hunt on that tag.
Great value and convenience for me. Hope it stays around.

one. still money ahead. i would have bought an archery, firearm and bonus tag anyway. I could have taken a couple does but passed to rebuild the local herd. Worked over 800 hrs of OT last year so never had the time to travel to hunt down south

I bought one and only harvested a buck. Was looking to take a doe also but just didn't happen. This still saved me money because I would have had to buy a archery tag, firearms tag and muzzleloader tag on top of the usual bonus antlerless tag I buy.
I liked this option ALOT and only have one license to buy and its good for the whole season. I hope they continue this option in the future.

I thought you had to purchase a separate Urban license to take a deer and check it in as Urban Zone take? Can anyone clarify this?

Is it just me or do others here also buy tags and stamps knowing full good and well that chances of even going at all were slim at best... but i like to think the money goes to a good cause..... dumb thinking on my part?

It's a great deal for those buying NR tags. I didn't get my buck until ML season so my season would have cost nearly $500 including taking does.

I took all three deer with the license doe with bow buck with gun and a doe in the late season. So I saved not having to buy two tags at full price. This worked out for us perfect as we all agreed to only take a buck and two does on our new found property
Huntin is not a matter of life and death, its more important than that

I did it. I thought it was a good idea. Convenient as I didn't need to try and remember every regulation for every season, etc.

I have an LTL but 3 buddies gave the bundle a thumbs up even the one that didn't take a deer.

I did take advantage of the Bundle and it save me the cost of 2 tags!!
