Peat moss and salt for me. Salt is hard on the traps so make sure there is a good coat of wax on them and be sure to clean them good as soon as you pull them. I will do coil springs until the snow gets to deep then its time for more snares.

+1 when they get a good coat of rust they will take dye better. Wax alone is sufficient and will save you time this year. Originally posted by hornharvester: those 550 wont take dye very good at least mine didnt. just wax them and set. h.h.
