I pulled my coon and muskrat traps today but left a few coyote traps in. This is my first year trapping and have done ok I for sure am not doing as good as you others but iam up to 5 coon 14 rats 1 mink 5 possum but unfortunately haven't taken to many pictures but here is a few. you got it figured out. Keeping tension on the hide helps also. I do it with my skinning machine but you can do the same thing by putting your other (non dominant hand) thumb into the ear hole and pulling down when doing around the eyes.
