Again today I knocked down a third, but no retrieval! Had a good blood trail at base of tree too, but never found him. frown

But, is it really hunting if you use a handgun with a scope or high tech sight? eek

You betcha!!

Congrats on "making meat." They should taste mighty fine. Going to make squirrel hors d’oeuvres for a New Year's Eve party?

May all our hunts be safe, enjoyable, and deeply appreciated.

Thanks guys

It's a Ruger Mark II .22LR Competition Target Model
It has an Aim Point red dot scope on it.
Bull Slab Barrel, thumb rest grips.
It's bad to the bone out to 50yds!
Tons of fun to shoot!!

Definitely a nice outfit. What kind of holster do you use to carry the pistol? Or, do you just carry it in your hands all the time while in the woods hunting?

Cedar, check out this link for details...
I've had this holster for a while now... and it works great!

Hey Bo, I got aggravated enough with taking mine down that I ended up buying one of these kits. Sure makes taking it down to clean a lot easier. Best part though is it really reduce the "take up" on the trigger.

But, after looking at yours again. It may not work with the scope. The allen wrench has to go in there.
