Finally made it out hunting today. Had rabbits running every where. First year to have success at this woods. Coyote numbers were up in my area but since they logged the woods, gave the rabbits a place to take shelter. Me and a Buddy had a awesome day. Shot 9 total and missed a few and saw many more running up in front of us. Going to make some great gravy..

Not running dogs, not unless you count the extra guy with us squirrel hunting. He's gun broke so he was our dog for jumping on the piles and flushing them out to us. lol..

Coyote no. up, plenty of shelter, plenty of rabbits. Habitat is the key and logging makes good habitat a lesson learned here
