It started out with my buddy up to bat for his first bird on wed morning we got to the spot a little late but no worries we will just start out running and gunning. We made it 150 yards I called and he said he heard one so we moved 50 more yards and they gobbled again. We got another 50 and that time they were close we got sit down and with in 5 min we had two toms coming I thought we was going to double but one got nervous and he was on it and mine was behind a tree but I thought it was good for him so let him score his first. And I told him to go ahead and 1 st bird down man we was excited there ended up being 3 but the other two got out of there without me getting a shot. But man it was a blast helping him get that one. Here is his it weight 18 lbs 8 in beard. Thursday started off slow for me but I got one to fire up around 9 he came in on a string only problem he stayed 60 yds down the hill from me in the river bottom. Long bstory short he stayed down there all morning I circled him tried to sneak as close as I could I tried aggressive I tried going silent on him he just wouldn't leave his area he was in. So I got to the river bed and could get him to answer every 2 or 3 calls just enough to keep him located and I snuck in on him crawled up the river bank and got him to come the last 10 yds at 1230 22 lbs 10 in beard Then my cousin came and hunted sat and he killed one at about 845 and that was after he missed one at 730. 21 lbs 9 in beard And then my dad who had been hunting hard since wed and 3 other birds were killed and he hadn't really even heard a bird let alone seen one but was Still going strong on sunday and we went to a new area and while we was at the truck waiting on him to get ready I heard one what sounded like a good ways off. We took off we got up the first little rise and we with the small elevation change he was closer than expected. We moved about another 75 yds which was maybe 200 yards from the truck and now we are 150 from the bird in the tree on his third gobble he was facing us and then he flew down he answered about every call and we could tell he was on his way fast. About t min and 6 gobbles later there he was dad shot him at about 645 for another fast hunt 20 lbs 9.5 in beard. And another fun memory with my dad ![[Linked Image]](http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh240/nickgsp2/IMAG1369.jpg)

That's putting it on them. Congrats to all.

Great job Nick, cherish those memories.
