Many years back I did when they first started hunting it....I killed a big Doe out of there... I did see some HUGE bucks in there and a few were killed....from what I can remebmer, I went to the east side towards the fence and then north(ish)...Picnic area F ..... back then you were assigned areas .... that chinquapin preserve area looked promising, but It wasnt my area ....it can be "rugged" with steep drops and bluffs in some place....I looked at that lawrence creek area, but again, it wasnt my "area" that I could hunt....

I just spent 20 min with Google Earth.... Not technically sure if you can hunt these two areas, but take a look. You can see deer crossings on these images. There are 2 spots close to each other, I marked 1 and 2. The order of the images is messed up but you can figure it out easily. http://imgur.com/a/HBREa

Never hunted there, but I heard from a friend it's typically overrun with hunters. Good luck!
It's hard to soar like an eagle when you're flying with a bunch of turkeys.
