Big Game Stories

This has become my favorite board on here. I love it. You guys have me thinking real hard about my future. You're so right when you say tomorrow isn't promised. I've been sick for about a month for the first time in my life...I thought I was invincible, but I'm not. I gotta get healed up and get out west.
I do have an Iowa pheasant hunt planned for the end of October that I've dreamed about forever...Hoping I'm healthy enough. It's a start. Not big game but an adventure with my son and other great guys that will never be forgotten.

Can't say it was health reasons that got me started taking out of state hunting excursions, but it was a life changing health scare that prompted the acceleration of my plans.

A friend once told me, "Take the trip of a lifetime....every year." I didn't really know what that meant until a few years ago.
