I've been truly blessed with a bountiful harvest this year. First I went to Kansas where I was able to tag two long beards. First one was 20.5 lbs, 8.25" beard, 1.25" spurs. The second was 23 lbs, 8" beard, 1.125" spurs.
Then I returned to Indiana in time for the opener. On Wednesday afternoon, using my late father's squirrel hunting shotgun, I was able to fill my Indiana tag on a fine bird. 25 lb, 10.5" beard, 1.5" spurs.
