I Don’t have the ground or machinery to plant beans. If I would it would be Eagle. Always hear great things about that variety.

We have 4 plots out this year and all of them are brassicas and clovers. I seeded in some radish’s as well. Deer here really Iike clovers and never even touch radishes or turnips/beets. I keep thinking it is just new to them and they will figure it out someday. I have to weed eat or take my push mower to clear everything after I kill it. There is just no way to get to the areas without doing that. That can make it good since it keeps people out, low disturbance, etc.... these plot are not destination food plot but areas mowed down to a good shot is available in tall thick thickets.

We have had dry/hot and then good rains. Plots are looking great and deer are hitting them daily.

We are ready.


Fishing and honeybee time
