Well, as you can see I was nose in, so in reverse, its all high gear ratio, plus I had to leave the quad for about a 45 min walk home, called a buddy and then went back out. By the time I got back to it, alot of the sand and water pretty much glued the wheels in place, and when I gave it throttle the wheels would not move, probably burnt the belt at that time. The picture doesn't do it justice, it was like clay/glue. Being only a high gear ratio didn't help, not like low gear in forward motion. But yes, because of the torque of the Brutes, the belts will go long before any tranny or engine parts. Once stuck, get pulled out.. A clutch kit would help and I'm looking into that next.
