My last check I did last month was...

Gas - 15.5MPG @ $3.99 a gallon = $0.26 per mile

E85 - 10.3 MPG @ 2.99 a gallon = $0.29 per mile

Or if E85 was $2.72 a gallon that would equate to $0.26 per mile.

Actually the break point is $1.27 less. I get about 30% less fuel economy with E85. Far less than what GM claims. I know several that have tried E85 but has a stated nothing close to $0.39. That would be great if your does.

But that's OK. Like you said if you want a big truck then that's the pill you'll have to swallow. I love mine. It does sit the garage more often now and use when I need a "truck".
