I am thinking that you are confusing RIFLE cartridges with PISTOL cartridges. The .44 Mag., .41 Mag., .45 LC, and .454 Casull are all classified as PISTOL cartridges. There are also rifles chambered for the pistol cartridges. Now, a .308, .30-30, .243, .30-06, and .270 ARE much too dangerious to be used here in Indiana for Deer. If it's legal to use the Strightwalled PISTOL Cartridges like .44 Magnum in a handgun, why not in a long gun?? Frankly, I am suprised this issue even came up again. [/QB][/QUOTE]
