DNA has family health issues, he resigned. the vice president has personal health issues that would not allow him to fulfill the presidents duties. This past week a board vote was taken to fill the spot and I accepted the task at hand.

I wish both Doug Allman and Rick Mitchell the best in their battles with health issues, I'm sure we will hear from them soon.

I'm excited about our involvement with youth and non hunter recruitment over the next year! We will pour our resources as well as man hours into those projects.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you are looking to get involved and help promote hunting the IDHA is the place for you to be!

On August 5 2008 the IDHA board approved the following expenditures to promote hunting

Archery in schools program........$2800.00

Big Oaks youth hunt................$500.00

Crane handicap hunt................$250.00

Indiana Outdoor Expo sponsorship..$1000.00

Handicapable camp for kids.........$250.00

Total....$4600.00

This does not include man hours of members at these events.

The IDHA puts resources and effort into promoting and protecting the sport we all love.........Hunting and fishing. Consider getting involved.....
