So I am new to all of this. Landowner is ok with us trying some in a few small places and logging roads if we can come up with some equipment to break ground. Dad is in sheet metal so we came up with a design of a chisel plow. So my research I have came up with buckwheat and a pea of some sort to plant in late spring or early summer then till under in august to plant what you want for fall. These areas will be small with biggest maybe a quarter acre. Any help on what to plant and where to buy seed or if would be worth the time and money. With these areas annuals are our best bet. We are just tryin to put some extra forage out there and bring in a few more deer.
Huntin is not a matter of life and death, its more important than that
