This week I lost a mentor, father-figure, and really good friend. Today we had the celebration service for his life and Governor Pence spoke. Mike did a really good job and had to stop to catch himself a few times. It was an encouragement to us and the community to hear his words.

Sometimes we forget that our elected officials are people too. Right or wrong. Democrat or Republican.

Whether, you or I agree with Mike's policies made - he stepped up today and honored a good man. He didn't have to show up but he did.
