Magnum Hunter, I see you are from Randolph county, me to, I probably know you. The problem around here is there isn't a large concentration of geese and that small group has hundreds of acres in the area to feed in, Here today gone tomorrow. Its not like some of the other states or even other counties in Indiana were you may have several thousand geese in one area so you get several chances to call groups in. I haven't hunted geese in this area for several years because of lack of numbers. Cant see setting a large spread for a shot at a couple of geese. I use to hunt a area that had several hundred geese in the area and it would give me several chances at filling a limit, that was worth the time to set up, do to development that is now history. Do your scouting the evening before, if they are they then chances are good that they will be back the next day. Scout on a Wednesday and hunt on Saturday you may be in for a very slow morning. Hope this gives you some insight.
