Maybe when guys get tired of going out and not seeing deer then quit hunting, and license revenue falls dramatically, the DNR will consider this. I hunt Montgomery county area also and numbers here seem way down from previous seasons. Originally posted by Hunter Dan:

Yaz That was a good idea to post that here DNA. However, it might be skewed towards the older generation a little these days. Most of the younger generation has all the social medias (FB, Twitter, etc.) to play on, and I bet thats where they are at. These "old dilapidated" forums aren't "cool" enough now days. I'm sure that many of the younger hunters really don't care to read what the grouchy, know it all, old guy crowd is arguing about this week.

I am 52 started hunting small game with my dad around 6 or 7, didn't start deer hunting until I was 22. Got my first deer in 1984 a 7 pt buck.
30 years for me.

I have been hunting with my dad my whole life, and I have only gotten very serious starting in 2012 (3 years). I go to IU currently and work part time, so my time to deer hunt is next to none (maybe will get 2 full weekends and one or two other hunts.) I'll get to hunt maybe 8-10 times a year.. But I love this forum because most of the information is pretty accurate and I enjoy reading what wiser people (compared to my generation lol) have to say!
