OK so i am one of those guys that is hooked on hunting shows. I typically flip through thiem till i find something interesting..... but today i just couldn't believe what i saw. Sportsman channel had a show called Outfitters Guide. They were hunting hogs with dogs pinning them down killing them with knifes. I just thought it was pretty bad when the one doing the stabbing was an 8 year old boy. Come on man.

Not my cup of tea either...to each their own...IF it's legal....

I'm all for teaching our kids how to hunt, the value to self-provision, etc but that seems a little too radical for me. I think kids can learn and appreciate the taking of an animals life without this extreme. Just my $0.02

i personally do not think that is appropriate for an 8 yr old. but for the record, i have killed a wild boar in texas with a knife. it was a stone knife that i made, as i am a flint knapper, an wanted to take an animal using something i had made.

I agree it would be a rush.......but it was over the top.
