This is a buck only contest......to determine your score we are using inside spread to the nearest 1/8" + the number of points on the rack(@ least an 1")

For example, an 8 pointer with a 15 2/8 inside spread would score........23 2/8 for the contest!!!

Deer must be harvested in Indiana.....you can upgrade your urban buck, special hunt buck, etc. if you want! Just Post a good pic of you and your buck and the rest will be an honor system!

The contest will close on January 31, 2015 at the close of urban season!

This contest is for BRAGGING rights......!

That's a very unique deer. Isn't that what makes whitetails so great, never gonna see two deer looking the same. Congrats on getting on the board. We finished up our football season tonight with a win in our championship, so now it's game on!!

Finally took deer with my old smoke pole I built in the 80's. Never hunted with it much then the inlines became popular. I tried to shoot one last year with it but after being rained on all day, no fire. Big ole chunk of lead in the right spot is very effective.

That was my buddy's it's a foot longer than mine and can pull out about 230 lbs of deer. Mine is good till about 120 lbs.
they go over logs better than a deer cart bout 6-8 inches isn't too bad. His is from Cabelas mine I bought on line. Search utility sled. I also have a deer cart that is good for long hauls out log roads. Also have a buddy with a roll up sled that likes it. Sleds are better for short hauls IMO. I would have to telecheck a big buck and quarter it to get on my sled as it's only bout 40inches long, perfect for a doe.

I hope so! I finally made it out for the first time this year, last night. Had surgery in early August, didnt walk for almost 10 weeks, got cleared by the doc yesterday morning, in the tree by 4:30! Saw one deer about 600 yards away as I was getting out of my stand. Couldnt tell what it was. Been a loooong summer/fall to say the least. Good luck all!

Here is my entry. I had some history with this deer and was happy to get a shot at him. I've gotten bigger but I am more than happy with this guy. Will be able to get measurements later this week.

Went hunting today around 1:00pm...had some errands this morning...didn't see anything except 8 nice sized fox squirrels for about 2 hours. Finally decided to follow a deer trail out to the back field and saw out of the corner of my eye something move on the other side of the tree line. I looked and it was a doe. I walked towards it out of sight due to the tree line and before I knew it looked up and their was a nice 8 point buck coming out of the woods staring at me at about 50 yards. If I would have had a muzzleloader there would probably be a picture on here as well. He was just too far out of my range. He stood broad side looking at me for a full 2 minutes and then took off with the doe and then another doe, which I didn't even know was there, into the woods. I went back to my spot, packed up, and by that time we had to leave for Richmond so thats how my night went. Great job to everybody who's killed a deer!
