Going through old pictures made me think of the buck that I shot that was full of nasal bot worms. This was in November in central Indiana. Taxidermist said he had seen them before, but mostly in deer from out west and early in the season. How many have ran across them in indiana? I have only seen them in this one deer.

I haven't seen them in years in a deer around here. I did see a young buck several times this fall that would sneeze, and blow all the time as he was feeding along. Even times I couldn't see him, I knew where he was at! laugh A sure sign he had some.

The one I shot was down wind of me, my grandpa swears the only reason I got him was his nose was full of worms. I have seen deer with all sort of nasty parasites and wounds, but it is pretty nasty to watch those things crawl out.

A friend of mine delivering irrigation pivots was in town last week from Nebraska. Had his a pic of his buck that he took this yr. The deer had a big hole on the top of his snout you could see thru to his mouth and could see its tounge. I will try to get a pic of it.

Mounted a deer for a guy outta Rochester a few Years ago. The buck was infested with them.

I have seen two deer with them them. The first one I had never seen this and about got sick when a large maggot looking thing fell out of its nose while skinning it. I did some research and found it's actually pretty common
