Been waiting on this day all summer and now its time to get a few big walleye. Fall feeding patterns are in effect now and big eyes should be roaming the shallow flats on full moon which is tonight. Going to my favorite walleye lake in the north which is Maxi and slow troll big stick baits up shallow, sizes 13, 15 mostly. My biggest walleye to date is 11 1/2 lbs, spawned out female....if shed had her eggs, weight would be real close to 15 lbs. Time to bundle up and get ready for the big-uns....h.h.

Only caught 4 eyes but quit at 10:30pm due to being cold.....didnt have enough clothes with me.....plus the weeds are still up and snagging my crankbaits. Weather is about 2 weeks behind normal. Im going next on the dark moon in two weeks. Biggest eye was 20", other three were short, 15 inchers. Still a fun time. If weather cooperates this weekend I might go to Lake Erie and night fish Niagara reef. This is big fish time for whatever species you fish for so get out there and catch um'. h.h.

Nice, you got a few at least. You are fortunate to have good walleye fishing waters nearby. All we have in my area is Cataract and the ‘eye fishing unfortunately is very weak. Good for crappies though. Best of luck on your next trip.
