I woke up this morning to the report that a man from Lebanon Indiana was hunting in Martin county (where I hunted this weekend). He was climbing into his stand and fell 23 ft. His hunting partner found him 4 hours later. They got him to a clearing and he was airlifted to a Louisville hospital.

I hope he is able to recover.

Sure seems like a lot of guys hitting the ground. I hope the best for him. I leaned out this weekend and while I didn't fall, I was sure glad the safety belt caught me and helped me regain my balance.
